Notts Golf Club is available for both corporate golf days and visiting societies alike. Any day can be tailored to suit your requirements to ensure that all guests enjoy a memorable day at Notts.

The Club's first floor Dining Room can accommodate in excess of 80 covers.  Additionally there is a smaller room accommodating 20 people for more informal dining (Tom's Room).  A jacket and tie is required for all guests when eating in the main dining room. Catering is generally available from 7.30 am each day, however, pre-booking your requirements is advisable to ensure prompt service.

The "Hollinwell Halt" Halfway House is available for hire at a charge of £25.00.  This sells soft and alcoholic drinks (for those that need a quick boost!), and snack food. Hot food items are available if pre-ordered. Please book directly with the Bar and Catering Manager

Golf

The Club requests that visiting parties play individual Strokeplay events in threeballs.  Fourball play is only permitted in afternoons.  Texas scrambles are not permitted.

Play is generally from the YELLOW Tees. The course measures in excess of 6,600 yards off these tees. Groups may play off the WHITE tees (6,900 yards) only with express permission of the Acting Club Secretary, Ellen Matthews.

For players that wish to warm up, the club has a "grass" driving range with balls available to purchase at £2.00 for 30 balls.

Nearest the Pin and Long Drive markers will be organised and put out by our staff as required.

For information, we recommend the following (if having just one of each):

To make your day more memorable, Notts can provide a starter upon request (to the office) at a fee of £7.50 per hour. For information, playing in three balls, 21 golfers per hour equating to only an additional 36p per golfer for that extra "special" touch.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL GUESTS ARE AWARE OF THE CLUB'S DRESSCODE & ETIQUETTE RULES AS LISTED ON THE WEB SITE.

Mobile phones may only be used on the course in emergency.

If caught short on the course, toilet facilities are available at the "Hollinwell Halt" (9th hole). Players will require an access code, obtainable from the Pro Shop.

Please be aware that golfers do not return to the clubhouse so will need to stock up with refreshments from the Pro Shop before play (unless using the "Halt"). Of course golfers may pay a visit to the famous "Hollin Well" where they may enjoy our fresh spring water. This is located by the yellow teeing ground on the 8th hole.

Clubhouse

Modern changing facilities with showers are available together with the use of free lockers and towels.

Casual dress / golf attire may be worn in the Bar, Mixed Lounge, Tom's Room, Spike Bar and Terrace Bar at all times.  Formal dress of jacket with shirt and tie or roll neck shirt is required in the Dining Room at all times.

Mobile telephones are not permitted  in the Clubhouse. Guests may only use phones outside the clubhouse.

Designated smoking areas are located immediately outside the main entrance or terrace bar entrance.
