Facilities

The clubhouse offers a warm, cosy atmosphere with golfers having the choice of 4 downstairs rooms to relax, enjoy a drink and snack food and to either prepare for or reflect on their round of golf.

The clubhouse opens at 7.30 am and catering is available from 7.45 am for all visiting groups.

The two main areas, the member’s bar and mixed lounge afford spectacular views overlooking the course. Two “spike bar” options are available, a small nook beside the visitors changing room and a terrace room attached to the member’s bar.

The main dining area is situated upstairs and can seat up to 80 guests. If the views are spectacular from downstairs, here they are breathtaking. A jacket and tie is required for all groups dining in this area. There is also a small ante room, Tom’s Room (named after the Club’s long standing professional, Tom Williamson) that can seat groups up to twenty in size; here guests may dine less formally.

The visiting changing rooms were refurbished in the past five years and provide a comfortable facility to change with excellent showers to refresh before retiring to the nineteenth. Obviously for a club of the stature of Hollinwell, free towels are provided. Free lockers are available to store away ones valuables whilst playing (£1.00 coin required but returned after use).
